I was reading through the British Journal of Photography, and came across this photographer.
Portraits of young women photographed from behind. these portraits aren't just about the hair styles, but showing femininity. Why stick/ use this age group?..... early twenties??
BACKROUND:
subdued/ neutral - like skin tones. Therefore, concentration is on the vivid/ different hairstyles/colours.
IDENTITY - TRENDS - PERSONAL HISTORY
Think outside the box!
- circle shaped images (instead of usual square/rectangle)
- from behind. when face isn't shown, what does this tell us about their identity?
I could do something similar.... using people with just ginger/ red hair??
